Frequently asked questions.
How long do I have to complete training?
Theory dates are chosen by the student based on availability, training is split across four separate theory dates. All theory dates must be completed within 8 weeks of signing up. After each one-day theory training, the student must complete — or receive approval for — a minimum of 5 models before moving on to the next theory date. Students are able to purchase a kit and take models on their own, or they can use the training facility, products, and receive ongoing progress check-ins from an expert until they are fully certified.
Do I have to attend the course every day?
No. We accommodate working students in need of a flexible learning schedule. The only required days are our theory days held on Mondays. Tuesday-Friday our academy is open to you for hands-on practice with an EYLA trainer present.
Do I have to provide my own models?
Models are required on theory days for learning and practice. If you cannot provide a model one can be provided for you. A list of models needed and times will be provided upon signup.
Is there a job opportunity?
We create lash and brow experts. Once you are certified you can apply to one of our EYLA salons for employment or we can connect you with our network of salons nationwide. Get hired at EYLA and we will reimburse you for your education.
Do I need a license to attend the academy?
We require either an esthetician, cosmetologist license or a copy of enrollment in a licensing program. We offer our externship program to students who are enrolled in beauty school.
